What the site remembers

The required ma_delivery_age_verified cookie remembers that you confirmed you are 21 or older for 180 days. Older visits may also have the same confirmation in local browser storage. This prevents the age screen from reappearing on every page.

The required cdm_analytics_consent cookie remembers an allow or decline choice for analytics for 180 days. The 21+ confirmation is not treated as permission for analytics.

Location detection stays on your device

If you choose “Use my location,” your browser provides coordinates to the page once. The page matches that point against Massachusetts municipal boundaries in your browser. Precise coordinates are not saved, sent to our server, or sent to Google Analytics.

Browser and agent tools

A browser that supports WebMCP may let an assistant select a town, change the visible Open Now filter, or focus delivery and pickup sections after you complete the visible 21+ confirmation. An agent cannot use a tool call to bypass the age gate. These tools use the same public, source-dated information already shown on the page. They do not receive protected data credentials, request a precise location or street address, place an order, enter an email address, accept consent, or submit a form.

If optional analytics is allowed, tool-driven town selections and Open Now changes use the same privacy-limited events as equivalent clicks. Unsupported browsers retain the complete ordinary site.

Analytics is optional

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may set _ga cookies and receive page paths and privacy-limited interaction events such as selecting a town, using the Open Now filter, opening an operator profile, or leaving for an operator’s website.

We do not send exact addresses, precise coordinates, phone numbers, payment details, order contents, checkout totals, or item-level cannabis prices to Google Analytics. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google signals are disabled in this implementation.

You can decline without losing any directory feature. Changing your choice to “No thanks” stops new analytics events and removes the Google Analytics cookies the page can access.

Good Feels house promotions

The directory may show an unpaid promotion for a Good Feels or Good Vibes product. Good Feels house promotions use a random, short-lived decision ID for each filled ad slot to bind the approved creative, asset, and click destination and prevent duplicate counting. The service records at most one render, viewable impression, click, and error for that decision.

The service does not set an ad cookie or store a visitor ID, browser fingerprint, precise location, address, checkout detail, or person-level advertising profile in its delivery application. Reporting and creative optimization use daily aggregate totals rather than person-level advertising profiles. Following a promotion passes through the house-ad service before reaching the approved destination.

The delivery host’s security provider may set a short-lived __cf_bm cookie and process ordinary request metadata to protect the service from automated abuse. The house-ad application does not read that cookie or use it for selection, reporting, personalization, or a cross-site profile.

Operational error monitoring

Sentry may receive a limited technical error report when the site fails, even if analytics is declined. It is used only to keep the directory working. Reports do not include stored IP addresses, cookies, authorization headers, search text, precise location, names, emails, phone numbers, orders, or payment details. Session replay, user profiles, logs, and advertising features are disabled.

External operator websites

Licensed operators control their own menus, address checks, age and ID verification, payments, and fulfillment. Their sites have separate privacy practices. Cannabis Delivery Map receives no checkout details merely because you follow a handoff link.
