After confirming that the opt-out could be reversed during its two-year term, the Board voted unanimously to prohibit licensed adult-use cannabis delivery and seek the waiver.

The Select Board reviewed the new state delivery law and Middleton’s earlier votes banning cannabis stores and delivery. Resident Eric Rogers, who works in the cannabis industry, argued that community sentiment had shifted since 2018, described address and identification safeguards, and offered to help the town understand current delivery operations.
