Adult-use cannabis delivery is temporarily restricted in Hampden under CCC waiver DW-2026-003 through June 5, 2028. The Selectboard first reviewed the state law on May 4, then took a recorded 2–1 vote on May 18. Chair John Flynn and member Donald Davenport supported requesting the waiver. Member Erik Vanderleeden supported allowing delivery, referring to the police chief’s view that enforcement options were limited. The direct local record therefore preserves both the result and the disagreement behind it.

The Selectboard discussed the state cannabis reform law and the municipal waiver available for recreational delivery. The minutes say medical delivery could not be blocked and record a question from member Davenport about state fee revenue not benefiting Hampden.
