Adult-use cannabis delivery is temporarily restricted in Avon under CCC waiver DW-2026-007 through June 10, 2028. At the May 7, 2026 Select Board meeting, the Town Administrator explained the new state delivery rule and the municipal opt-out. Police Chief Jeffrey Bukunt and Health Agent Kathleen Washburn opposed allowing delivery, and the Board tied its decision to Avon’s existing bylaw against adult-use marijuana sales. The Board then voted unanimously to request the waiver.
